The 18 Week Off-Season Practice Program
The 18 Week Off-Season Practice Program will consist of three separate phases. The first phase (6 weeks) will consist of groups of three and will involve pitchers getting their arms in shape and working on mechanics, hitting and fielding drills, catcher blocking and footwork drills, etc. During the second phase (8 weeks), players will participate in the indoor hitting and pitching league (please, see attachment for more details). The third phase (4 weeks) will consist of groups of three training sessions on hitting, pitching, fielding, and getting ready for spring and summer games. All three phases will include CSA (Core Strength and Agility) workouts. If you register for the 18 week off-season practice program, you are automatically registered for the 8 week live pitching and hitting league.
Phase one will begin mid-November; phase two will begin in early January; phase three will begin in early March (exact days and times will be determined during the registration process).
The practice program will consist of groups of three training sessions for an hour once a week. You may sign-up as a complete group, a partial group, or as an individual. If signing up as a partial group or as an individual, you will be placed with other players of similar age and talent.
